The reason this has most likely happen is that you have been doing business the way you were taught that does not align with your authentic self. You started out with a J.O.B. (just over broke) in a institutionalize system that gave you structure on when to be at work, what to do all day while you are there and when to leave work for the day because that is what you were conditioned to do. They told you how much you were worth by paying you a salary that you have become dependent on, but really the salary is only in relation to what the job itself is worth and not what you are worth. Hoever, you need to wake up to that reallity. If you do not conform to the way of life then they decide for you that you are no longer needed and they relieve you of your misery. I know I have been there. Now you are F.R.E.E, at least you think that for a moment. However, the bills still continue to come and you need money to pay them. So F.R.E,E, takes on a different meaning. Still...
You have a feeling inside that you were meant for so much more. You are smart, educated, creative, talented, spiritual, powerful beyond measure, and you are passionate about serving/helping others and the world. This is your gift and you want to share it with your on purpose authentic business. Now you wonder how will I get clients, and will they pay me?

Dorris' journey into entrepreneurship came after relocating to the St. Louis, MO area in 2002 - she found herself frustrated after 15 years of the corporate life. Saying that something has to be better than that life. Her journey took her into a large direct-sales company. She was exposed to many exceptional success strategies and powerful concepts for setting and reaching goals.
She knew that to have a business you need to market it, but it involves getting out of your way to know that what you offer s transformational. Having being a student of and drawn to any and everything about spirituality, human potential and personal development. This is how her purpose was revealed. She has been a student of this learning for that last 20 years.
The truth for Dorris is that she does love fashion and beauty which is why she will always add a component of that in her business. She believes that image is very important and it is reflected in how you give yourself to the world. But, she is more passionate about women entrepreneurs making money, stepping in their powers and changing the world. Leaving a legacy.
These concepts set in motion a brand-new pathway in her life, success, spiritual growth, and personal freedom. One of concepts that that impressed her immemsely encouraged that she dream--and dream big with no limits. Now it's time to PLAY a MUCH BIGGER GAME.
She knew that it would take reconnecting to her purpose and passion in order to have true prosperity. The next stage of coming back to oneself begins --- acceptance of one's own unique beauty; that is the soul purpose from which we are made.
In December of 2008, Dorris made a radical change. For several months prior, she had been feeling a disconne
ct between what she was doing in one of her major business endeavors and her life's intentions. There was a growing divide between her mission and purpose (her destiny) to help other women entrepreneurs create the businesses that fulfill them and serve others while making 6-figures, high 6-figures or even 7-figures.
She knew she had to make a change. She would have to become the change herself.
Which was scary, because at the time, she was building a multi-level marketing business. The thought of not building that business anymore was frightening, not just from an income perspective, but, more importantly, from the perspective of the close relationships she had built with her team members and other leaders in the company.
Even still, she did what she was feeling was the best move for her and stop building that business. It was painful, as a matter of fact it doesn't pay well - doesn't pay money at all.
But what it paid in the way of clarity of purpose is far beyond what any dollar earned during that time could have given her.
Yet the most beautiful thing happened during that time: She got crystal clear about what she was desirous of creating in her business and financial affairs, and she began to put that signal out into the universe. (And, during that period, this business was born.) She holds a Master's of Public Affairs in Government/Business Relations, Master's of Art in Management & Human Resources and BS in Fashion Merchandising & Marketing degrees. Along with a master's certificate in project management.
One of Dorris' favorite books on wealth building is the The One Minute Millionaire, and from the first time she read that book years ago, she has been intrigued by the idea of being an Enlighted Millionaire - one who first seeks enlightenment, and makes millions too, and uses the wealth to create a better world.
This is a story about her unfolding journey that will hopefully help you to see that you can create whatever you desire. You're the one making up the movie that's your life. The best way to predict your future is to create it.
